Residency through property in 2026
Since October 2026 the rules are clearer for property buyers (TRNC Official Gazette No. 193 and 194):
- Owners of title deeds with a total property value of £300,000 or more can apply for a residence permit of up to 10 years, without proof of income.
- Buyers with a stamped sales contract of £300,000 or more can apply for a residence permit of up to 5 years, without proof of income.
